Weekend Fun

I decided to brave the act of taking the kids to a sit down,  non- fast food restaurant alone as well as a movie and finished up with a newly created game.

Red Robin was a success! Jordan and Ava waited patiently for their food and even used their inside voice. We had a great conversation about whether or not Red Robin was cooking the food and if he would like to come out and meet us.

We completed our fun day with a game of kick bowling I found on Pinterest. Jordan won.....Ava and I are pretty sure he cheated.

Princess Tea Party

Ava attended a Princess Tea party hosted by Belle aka her teacher Erica. She had no idea it was her teacher which made it even more fun. The day included manicures, make-up, story time and very fancy lunch. Jordan came along for the trip reluctantly but he survived thanks to the iPad.

Jordan's Last Day of Kindergarten

He gained a lot a knowledge and lost a few teeth...I consider that a pretty successful kindergarten year! My big boy was Core Values Student of the month twice and finished up the year with almost all E's. I thought that deserved a surprise trip to Kings Dominion after school. It was also Ava's first trip and she was too excited to be to actually be able to get on rides.....some even without Mommy!

Word Wall Ball

Jordan attended the 2nd Annual Word Wall Ball at his school last week. It's a celebration for all the kindergartener  who successfully learned all their vocabulary words. The kids that mastered them received a certificate and a necklace with 31 beads.  Jordan and his dance partner Jocelyn were the perfect pair!

Picnic in the park

We took the kids out for a picnic in the park to enjoy the perfect weather we had over
Memorial Day weekend. They really enjoyed being outside playing hide and go seek, racing and just being silly
