Fun with Sidewalk Chalk!

Jordan and I took out arts and crafts time to another level yesterday by decorating our driveway with some sidewalk chalk.

I pretty sure there was just as much chalk on Jordan as the driveway. I think he really enjoyed the cleaning up part too.

A Star is Born!

After finishing up the first week in our new house Jordan and I decided to go out and ejoy the backyard. Although Jordan has been taking soccer since he was 18 months old don't think he is a one sport kid.

He showed off his T-Ball skills today. After only a few practice shots he knocked one out of the park.

Mother's Day

I spent this Mother's Day at a very special place.......no not at the spa but with Jordan and Elmo. We spent the day at Busch Gardens enjoying the new Sesame Street attraction. We had a great time! Jordan refused to take a picture with Elmo but he was all for riding his first roller coaster. We rode the train around the park and stoped to see the horses. A great Mother's Day with my little man.

Race for the Cure

Jordan and I ran (more like swift walk) our first 5K race on Saturday along with Lorraine. Outside of the occasional request walk rather than ride in the stroller, Jordan did great!

Easter at the Garden

Jordan and I decided to take advantage of the great weather we had for Easter Sunday and spend the day at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. We toured the garden, spent some time playing in the sand and had lunch.

Weekend Roundup

After the big Easter Egg Hunt we decided to spend a few hours in the park enjoying the great weather.

The Easter Egg Hunt

Jordan and I took a trip to Fort Belvoir for an Easter Egg Hunt. He was at all interested in taking pictures with the Easter Bunny but he had a great time outside. Sadly we were only able to find 3 eggs due to the extreme hiding done by the soldiers. You would need to through Basic Training to know to dig in the sand for eggs!

It was still a lot of fun.
