We made our first trip of the season to the zoo. It's so fun to see how both Jordan and Ava have grown up since last year's trip. Jordan got a chance to show off his animal smarts to his sister by taking her hand and telling the names of all the animals....some of which I had no clue what they were. Thanks Diego!
We even braved the skyride!!

Sunday Afternoon at the Park
Now that the weather is warm we constantly find ourselve outside. One of favorite places to visit on a Sunday afternoon is the Children's Farm at Maymont. I've learned to take advantage of the tram to see the entire park without having to walk all day.
Each time we go they want to see the animals.....then tell me how much they stink :)

May Roundup-Part 1
My iPad addiction has caused me to neglect my blogging. If only I could blog from my there life would be perfect. I am commited to updating my blog at least biweekly from now on. For this one I'm playing catch up for the entire month of May.
We have been quite busy. Ava has followed in her big brother's footsteps by takinng her first music/gym class at Romp n Roll. She's definetly not quite as wild and crazy as Jordan was in class but she seems to really enjoy it. I think she went up and down the slide at least 20 times!

Happy Birthday Jordan!!
I still can't believe my baby is 5 years old. I can still clearly remember bringing him home and now I'm getting ready to send him to kindergarten in the fall. To celebrate this milestone we surprised him with a trip to Disney World. He and Ava had a great time.....he's still talking about all the things Mickey did for his birthday.

The End of Basketball Season for Jordan
Jordan just completed his first season of Super Peewee basketball for i9 Sports. They made it to the playoffs but unfortunately lost to a team they beat twice already :(
Jordan came a long way from his first game. He's making shots, rebounding and all. He even got the sportsmanship award. Go Jordan...he's a rock star. Now on to baseball
