Road Trip

The kids and I went on our first solo road trip to meet Daddy in NC for our 6th anniversary. The trip down was pretty uneventful. Ava was asleep all but the last 15 mins and Jordan was entertained with his the ipod and cartoons. Since it was 102 degrees we hit the pool as soon as we checked into the hotel. Ava was a bit more excited than her expression shows :)

On our anniversary Daddy surprised me with flowers, gifts and dinner for four at a local Japanese restaurant. Jordan and Ava loved all tricks the chef did, not to mention all the fire!

New (old) toys for Ava

Jordan decided he wanted to give Ava some of his old toys last weekend. He took them downstairs and so he could surprise her with them when she woke up from her nap.

He showed her how they all work.

I think she likes them :)

Happy Birthday Jayla

This past weekend we to Jayla birthday party We spent 3 hours in Chuck E Cheese....on a Saturday.....in Chuck E Cheese. Fun times! Even through all the complete madness both Jordan and Ava had good time. They were asleep before the car was out of the parking lot.

Apparently Jordan was spending way too much time with Farrah. Jayla firmly asked me to go get him. She was not too happy about this whole Farrah thing!! I mean it was her birthday after all. I guess it's something about those Daniel men ;)

Happy Birthday Briana

Jordan is officially on the summer birthday circuit. I think this our 3rd party so far. Yesterday we went to the party of one his classmates at Kangaroo Jac's. He and Ava had a great time.....even though she kinda crashed the party uninvited. It's one of the perks of having such a cool big brother.

Of course he was happy since Jayla was there. Please look closely at my son's hands.....I see it's the girls I'm going to have an issue with! Unacceptable Miss Jayla!!

Big Bean

Our little Bean is becoming quite a big girl. I'm amazed everyday of how much she's growing. At almost 8 months she's quite vocal, not crawling but can roll with the best of them.

She can sit unassisted, which makes Aunt Jayme happy since she thinks the bumbo is torture.

July 4th Weekend

We had a great holiday weekend full of friends, food and fireworks.....none of which I have pictures of. Jordan and Ava were quite happy to have daddy home. Jordan was sporting his fresh haircut.

I was happy to have Daddy home too.....there was so much work for him to do :)

Ava's First Word?!

As Jordan and I tried to watch Gulliver's Travel we were repeatedly interupted by the Bean. We think she's saying Mama.....you be the judge.
