What We're Learning the Week of July 26th

I decided to start documenting Jordan's home educational activities to track his progress. We work on new skills and continue with it until it is mastered. This week we started working on improving manual dexterity with using scissors, correcting his use of crayons and markers as well as beading.
Teaching Jordan these skills is an extra challenge since he uses his right hand and I'm a lefty…….we're getting there.

Welcome Home Officer Daddy

After 5 long weeks of school we welcomed home Daddy after graduating from Warrant Officer school. Jordan was very happy to have his partner in crime home to make up for hours of playtime. We decorated in Daddy's class colors and had cookies with his new rank on them. Great Job, we are so proud of you!

Pre 4th Celebration

Jordan and I headed to the annual Brandermill Parade and Independence Day celebration at Sunday Park. I thought it would be a good idea to go to an early fireworks display to avoid some of the crowd since we don't have Daddy here to deal with the parking and traffic. We got there early enough to enjoy the playground before the fireworks began.

I think he would have been satisfied with just hanging out at the playground.

What happened to the sun...

Anybody who knows Jordan is well aware that his mouth is always on BLAST. There is no off or low setting for my baby. He finally found something he could not talk over :)
