We were excited to hear we would be getting some snow this weekend. Jordan watched out the window Friday evening waiting for it to start. We got more than 10 inches of snow which of course meant we had to make a snow man....
Jordan got started by clearing the driveway.
What else would you expect a snowman to be wearing in front of our house

Mobile Pics
Since so many pictures I take of Jordan are done from my phone I decided to share a few of my recent favorites.
Here he is showing the same disgust I felt in our beloved Broncos after our lost to the deadskins.

Halloween Night
After having going trick-or-treating the night before Halloween we were able to stay at home and give out candy on Halloween night. We spent the first part of the night at a neighborhood party then came home to hang out with Meema, Aunt Annie (or as Jordan calls her "The Witch)", Kearnard and Brenden.
Jordan showed off both his pirate and cowboy costumes for everyone.

Trick-or-Treat Time
Tonight Jordan had a partner in crime to hang out with and get some candy. We met my friend Alicia and her son Ray at Gayton Crossing for their Pre-Halloween celebration. They were too cute for words and seemed to have great time collecting candy their mom's to eat :)

Pumpkin Festival 2009
This weekend we took a trip to the Chesterfield Berry Farm to attend the Pumpkin Festival. The weather was great and we had lots of fun finding just the right pumpkins

Racing Day
Jordan decided to show off yet another of his many talents and challenge James to a race.
I think Jordan had the size advantage on this one.

Reading Part 2
Just in case you weren't impressed with my little man's reading skills, here is more. Jordan is able to read about 22 words. He is constantly demonstrating his knowledge whenever he sees a word he knows. We are truly amazed at how quickly he is learning.....I guess he gets that from his Mommy :)

Welcome Home Daddy!!
After being overseas for a year Jordan had to catch Daddy up on how much he has learned and introduce him to his new friends. Thomas the Tank Engine is now his favorite toy, which thankfully replaced Elmo.
He was able to give Daddy some guidance on furniture assembly as well as teach him a few new words.

The Little Chef
I thought it was time for Jordan to take some responsibility around here since he eats the most yet has no job! He loves blueberry muffins so I taught him how to make them in hopes that one day he will award Daddy and I with breakfast in bed :)
He enjoyed every minute from mixing the ingredients to watching them "grow" in the oven.
When it was all done he ate three of them.

Swim Class
Jordan had his first "Mommy & Me" swim lesson today to prepare him for his lessons in September. We started the day with a little playdoh time making fish to get the right motivation.
With the temperature hanging around the mid 70s the pool was far from warm. After the initial shock he did great. He successfully passed his first submersion without a single tear. We can't wait for next week1

July 4th Weekend
Jordan and I had a pretty low key 4th. We skipped out on the fireworks and spent some time at the children's museum enjoying the water park. With this being a long weekend it was the perfect opportunity to get started on some potty training started as well. The Elmo potty got plenty of practice since he seemed to enjoy asking to go to potty over and over again. He celebrated with some well deserved playtime with his Meemaw.

Tiger Woods he is.....not!
Since Jordan seems to love to watch golf highlights on ESPN I thought I would let him try his hand at it.
Although he got all his balls in after a few shots, I don't think Tiger Woods is losing any sleep about his new competition.

My Little Charmer
I have been working on getting Jordan to sleep in his own bed all night. Monday he stayed in until about 3am. Tuesday he picked 1000 books for me to read and conveniently fell asleep in our bed. On Wednesday when I told him after his bath he was going to sleep in his bed he pulled out all the stops. I'm pretty sure you know where he slept last night. He has me wrapped around his finger :)

A Star is Born!
After finishing up the first week in our new house Jordan and I decided to go out and ejoy the backyard. Although Jordan has been taking soccer since he was 18 months old don't think he is a one sport kid.
He showed off his T-Ball skills today. After only a few practice shots he knocked one out of the park.

Mother's Day
I spent this Mother's Day at a very special place.......no not at the spa but with Jordan and Elmo. We spent the day at Busch Gardens enjoying the new Sesame Street attraction. We had a great time! Jordan refused to take a picture with Elmo but he was all for riding his first roller coaster. We rode the train around the park and stoped to see the horses. A great Mother's Day with my little man.
